There is the distinct possibility that you will be accused of Jehovahphobia. An increasing number of people in our country are opposed to Free Speech, if that free speech is critical of certain cultures and religions.
Jehovahphobia...Wow! I hadn't heard that one before.
I'm not worried about Jehovah. It's his Witnesses that are a headache.
So I guess I'm a Witnophobe.

Laverite, you know that I would LOVE to contribute to a sign like that.
I wouldn't necessarily prefer to contribute to a website because a billboard will get a FAR larger audience. I LOVE freeminds. However...I never knew about it until I was already questioning the Watchtower. A billboard could cause many to START to investigate. I think once an open minded person starts to investigate, they are well on their way to coming out of the org.

That's very much in line with what some of my thoughts were on this. Getting feedback from others like this is very helpful.
i think this is the greatest idea --- people have no idea the reality of the watchtower and how they kill/hurt people. i wish more would consider/contribute to a billboard project/endeavor. i would definitely contribute to a nyc/crooklyn billboard if you're collecting -- or any other locality, for that matter.
EDUCATION/INFORMATION IS EVERYTHING AGAINST ABUSERS (and all things)! i will see about free legal from one lawyer (although i'm sure advice necessary for different states/areas).

Go for it! I can see that we are all behind you. It would be awesome to get some information out to the public regarding the mistreatment of people that want to leave the Watchtower. Disfellowshipping is disgusting and causes so much pain to familys just because some do not want to follow their way of life anymore. Let the information come out!!!!!!
I honestly think that most people would look at it and say to themselves, wtf?
I dunno. We all want people to know that JWism is all kinds of total suckage, but I don't think a billboard is the way to go.
