No but Hospice uses that term. They even have it in their little booklet they give you. When hubby was dying he would cover his head often. They told me he was preparing his way to another place.
I guess I will understand it when it is my time.

But how can they say they are "going home' if they did not live in heaven before? Earth is our home. It is where we were concieved, born and live. To me that is a very strange expression for a dying person to say. I have not heard anyone in person say it.
