Elders MUST not let ANY of their children go to college. If they do then there qualifications as an elder as to be revised and they be dropped accordingly .... ooh err

On the elders and college issue as it's been reported here: If any Elder's children or himself attends college his qualificaitons will need to be reviewed.

STILLAJWEXELDER: Well, there seem to be many more newbies. The religion is going for an all out attack against college and any elder who allows his children to attend will lose his position. Other newbies just can't tolerate the religion anymore and want no more of it.

The anti-college stance is being over-simplified in this thread, IMO.
It's a continuum.
Good Elder: Kid lives at home, pioneers, while getting a degree and saying all the right things.... likely no problem.
Bad Elder : Sends kid away to a university with the main goal of becoming a professional (medical, engineering or legal)... local elders pick his brain and likely decide he needs to be removed.
