I feel a lot like Nugget does...
I love the support and care in this community / the freedom to speak / the wonderful humour / the brilliant research some offer / it has given me so much that I can never repay...most of all the ability to discern that I was involved in a cult and that I developed a cult mentality...
And if any threads are not my 'cup of tea' I can just pass them by...freedom to choose.

MINIMUS: I am very grateful this site exists and also the web in general. This place affords us the chance to talk about our bad experiences in the religion. It helped me get back my 'mind' or 'self' a little at a time. It also allows us to discuss light-hearted things as well. It was most important for me to see that other people saw the same things I did. Anybody who gets sucker-punched like we did and sets out on a long journey to get their life back - deserves a salute!
