yes indeed it is awesome to see Jehovahs name proclaimed.
Even the enemies who attempt to bring reproach on Jehovahs
name are unknowingly making his name manisfest. it is up
to his loyal servants now to follow up with the truth.
    indeed praise be to Jah.

    Howdy,

I reside in SC. Last Monday nite on Dateline (which showed at 11:30pm) had a special on the Catholic Church and the cover up of priests who molest/rape children. Several archbishops were interviewed - but primarily the one who would send his priests to counseling, after they'd been caught molesting children, counselors said they were under control, would send them to a different parish, molest again, go back to counseling, released, send to another parish.......until literally hundreds of children were molested/raped.

    His rationale?

"What we handle is the transgression, or the sin, of child molestation. We distinguish that from the criminal aspect," Brown said. "Our view is, the church handles the sin, the secular authority * Caesar, if you will * handles the criminal activity." JR Brown, WTBTS legal counsel.
EXACTLY THE SAME!!!!!!! The archbishop said they handled molestation as a SIN - the sinner confessed, they forgave, got some help, put him back with more kids. Again and again and again.

However, NOW they *say*, they'll view molesters as the criminals they are (and sinners.) It's estimated, btw, that the Catholic Church has paid out One Billion Dollars to molestation victims to date. Perhaps that's part of the rationale of changing their view of molestors?

Good Housekeeping, this month, has a good article on Catholics speaking out against their molesters. One woman who joined with her sister in going to court against the priests who raped them and others in her parish, for years.

    NYtele,

I hate to do this, but I'm gonna take a stab at the inconsistancy of this quote:

Rodriguez's lawsuit contends the church knew Beliz was a pedophile, yet made him a ministerial servant and elder, failing to prevent further abuse of children - Newsweek author
The action of making Beliz a ministerial servant and elder does not necessarily mean that there was a failing to prevent further abuse of children. He could have been df'd, or simply a publisher - and children could still have been abused, either by him or by others.

He could have been a ministerial servand and elder - and not molested any further either, btw. Unlikely, but possible. (I don't remember exactly the details of this case - which makes my statement a general one addressing what I think any attorney would try to bring up.)

There is a correlation - but not necessarily proof.

He can't be a Ministerial servant and elder at the same time?

to do with my one dollar offer and the quote in the paper.... i think this
further proves that antis are blinded by their own
hatred to see the obvious..........thanks for playing
    game over
