Gah, I'm having such a hard time understanding thiss! DX Okay, this is about to get a little ugly since I kinda have a lot to ask. Heregoes..

-Some apostates were trying to, I guess, upset me by bringing up several dates the Watchtower has made "false predictions" in such as the 1800s and 1900s. (I'm not an official Jehovahs Witness, because I'm still learning, except my Bible teacher went to Mexico) and all I know about is the date 1914. When Jesus took the thone. Thats itt! Are there more dates that are in Bible Chronology? Can someone explain what they aree? If the predicted dates the past were mistakes, which I understand the WT can make mistakes ofcourse. How did they make the mistakes?

-Deut 18:20-22 states the requirements of a false prophet. What exactly does it mean to "speak in Jehovah's name?" or "speak in God's name?" Watchtower doesn't do that, right? :3

Thats all for now; It's too late to continue. THANKYOU IF YOU CAN HELP ME UNDERSTAND THIS.

You should take a stroll around this site to find out about other dates. He lays the facts out nice and clear:

    1. 1914 is not a Bible date, even though the Watchtower Society teaches that it is.

    2. Originally, the Watchtower taught that Jesus returned invisibly in 1874 and that Armageddon would come in 1914.

    3. Now the Watchtower teaches that Jesus returned invisibly in 1914 and that Armageddon will come any time now.

    4. The Watchtower Society teaches that it is Jehovah's only spirit-directed organization on earth and that Jehovah requires Jehovah's Witnesses to believe whatever the Watchtower Society teaches as true, including its chronologies and predictions.

    5. If that isn't "speaking in Jehovah's name," what is?

I think you're baiting us and aren't who you claim to be. You sound like Angel Eyes again. But just the same:

There is an ocean of evidence.

Destruction of Jerusalem 607 is one of the big ones. Lots of information here:

A mountain of false prophecy information is listed here:

Oct. 8, 1966 says "The year 1975 will witness the Battle of Armageddon."

"The Time Is At Hand" pg. 101 "Battle of the great day of God Almighty will end in 1914 with complete

    overthrow of earths present rulership."

" 1918 Millions now living will never die." pg.89 "We can expect 1925 will mark the return of Abra., Issac, and Jacob."

Oct.8,1963 pg.13-14 "Jesus saidthe end would come BEFORE the generation of 1914 passes away." (who lied Jesus

    the organization?)

The only thing the organization got right was in the Oct. 8,1968 'There have been those who predicted an end of

the world, but the end never came. Why? What was missing? Missing was the evidence God was not backing them.

"They are guilty of false prophesying."

    '

All of their failed prophesies ars based on calculations that require Jerusalem to have fallen in 607 BC. This includes their calculation to 'prove' that Jesus selected them, in 1919, to be God's sole channel in our day.

Go the the library and find as many books as you can that discuss when Jerusalem fell, and how they arrive at the date. When you have done that, come back and tell us when it was.

    Welcome to the forum

    'allo sunshine drops.

I'm not gonna say much here before you answer me a question or three.

What do you mean when you say 'apostates'?

    Do you consider us 'apostates'?

If you do why would you ask 'apostates' for an answer to a question 'apostates' have posed?

I don't know why you asked that question in the way you asked it.................the truth is out there.

Beware of ex-JW UK Punk rockers, who sez so? Unky Punky says so!
