It's an interesting zone. I have some in my family there they may be in the worst position. They don't feel the pressure of the cult but are fully indoctrinated. They are in LaLa land. There was something on jwfacts about this under fear and mind control. Fringe members don't have to toe the line, so they are out of touch. They may say "how dare you insult the cult" and have no clue what's even going on. I sent the cart video to my brother and he thought it was a joke. Because it's easier to be loyal to something you believe in without the burden of rationality

I think a JW can talk about individuals, but to say anything against the org is the issue. Few elders would want to draw attention to talk about them (probably true observations), but talking against the org is verboten!

Is he married? He sure isn't marriage material, according to the WT.

To be an entertainer you need the same kind of wit and chutzpah that the borg has no use for. Disfellowshipping if it is done at all should be done by people who are morally, intellectually, and emotionally qualified, and maybe his rationalization is that almost nobody in the organization is qualified as such, which may be the only way for a college boy to reconcile the cognitive dissonance.

He criticize the elders but will defend the cult...
