You realise they'll be dining out on that encounter for years to come. There's nothing like the frisson of excitement that comes from meeting a real apostate in the flesh.
That's so true. Depending on how exciting they make the story of their encounter with you, they will be considered war hero's. The one's who were confronted with the dark side and stayed in the troof to tell about it.
I remember being full of JW opinions but unable to explain them.
When asked what I thought, I'd give the party line but couldn't take it any further.
It was very frustrating.
I always admired those "smart ones" who could explain it.
I just couldn't keep the current thoughts (always changing, ya know) straight.
We all had to memorize from rote because the explanations didn't make sense enough to be applied practically or logically.
