The WTS. is just but one example of how the belief in the bible can be manipulated and exploited for commercial reasons,

dragging people all into this precarious marketing scheme.

Sadly this organization can now continue now indefinitely even if the number of the followers dwindle

because of the acquired wealth, particularly in real-estate.

A billion dollars worth of real-estate can keep an organization operating for a very long time.

There is a big sell off of their branches around the world happening right now even in their Brooklyn Head Quarters.

Their recent purchases of land for development purposes are said to be an insider paid for in cash.

There is power in money, equal to that of the power of god.

Most of "us" became JWs because we were brought in by our parents, or we were looking for answers and got sucked up into a cult

I was one of the former, but I can sympathize with the latter

Sooner or later, we have to take responsibility for ourselves

Jesus Christ, stop blaming your past. You were lied to and deceived? EVERYONE has been lied to and deceived. The fucking JWs don't have a corner on that market

Time to think for yourself and stop blaming your past. Time to move on, Mr. and Ms. Victim

I like to think that soon it might be pay-back time.

I kind of doubt that Paladin.

The WTS has always hid behind the religious freedom of the United States.

    Exploited to their prospering design.

This is one law of Caesar's (Satan's system of things ) that they know of its worth and potential.

I have to agree with you. It's all about the money and numbers. The WTS doesn't make policy, policy makes up the WTS. I read that some where on this forum.

The JWS/WTS. is just another of the many examples of religious organizations and what sort of corruption can occur

with and by using outward virtuous religious sensationalism.

There is an enormously designed and pretentious veil of purity covered over this intuition that for some appears

very attractive and alluring, but that is just the outside surface deliberately created to attract people, the working mechanisms

at the core are dubiously corrupt as one might find from any large business corporation. ($)

One thing that also has to be acknowledged that the leaders of the organization themselves as at times created spurious intensional lies to keep

this veil of righteous purity intact. For example think of what the organization as said about blood transfusions and what information they

displayed in supporting their argument, was it unbiased, was it completely truthful......hardly !

Remember the GB leaders inherent responsibility is to create an outward appearance that yes this organization is the one and

only godly guided organization here on earth, so being truthfully responsible on their expressed doctrines would fracture and break down this

    forwarding agenda.

I didn't expect them to apologize and show compassionate empathy for the 1975 debacle and no one with a bit

rational common sense should have expected so either.

    MINIMUS:

My condolences if you are a "born-in". I am not meaning to make fun of you but the idea of somebody 'forcing' me to pioneer and not get an education sounds bizarre and foreign. I came in as a young adult and already had an education and a job. Most of the nonsense I heard in this religion just went in one ear and out the other. My parents taught me to have self-esteem and I certainly wasn't letting these uneducated, jealous fools abase me.

I refused to quit my decent job and pursue poverty so that these busybodies would think I was a 'good' christian. Many of these busybodies were retirees who already MADE their living and were enjoying a comfortable retirement. The poverty being pushed wasn't for them - just somebody else. I had to go out and make my own way in the world. I refused to be targeted by users in this religion who thought they would get their hands on me and exploit me as a single woman - like as though I "owed" somebody something. What a laugh. I did NOT follow in the footsteps of other single women - some of whom ended up impoverished and on meds for depression. I refused to allow people in this religion to overstep their boundaries under the guise of a phony brotherhood.

I never allowed this kind of intrusion in my life. I am angered and horrified that it has done so to so many others.

I DO, however, feel very sorry for born-ins and especially children who have these things imposed on them. This is a very damaging religion and it cannot be underestimated.

I was a "born in'. Faithful Dubbies follow "Mother". Period. Especially was this true in the 1960s and 70s. We were raised, "trained" to WANT to be "Servants".

I know of a superb football player that could've literally been in ANY college. They ALL wanted him. He was gifted. He quit high school football with the best numbers ever!!!!

and he began Regular Pioneering, warned everyone about 1975 and got a job at 7-11!!!! WHAT A WASTE!!!
