In order to know that there is no God, would require omniscience.
The same applies to knowing that there are no fairies, leprechauns, purple people eaters, etc. I mean, have we searched the whole Universe for them? Case closed.

And another good rebuttal source.
Villabolo,
Millions and millions of Christians testify that they KNOW God. This is totally different than the JW type of knowing about God that we all used to experience. Christians claim that God actively and intimately interacts with them. There are not millions of people claiming this about leprachans.
We Christians are claiming that we KNOW something that cannot be possibly known unless God himself reveals it to a person. This is the exact opposite from the standpoint of the atheist who argues from ignorance and is proud of it.

Perry:
"The author superimposes 21st century economics over ancient ecomonies and ignores historical realities of survival. God did not intervene in this world to make it slightly less barbaric. All sin is barbaric. Believers are to survive in a barbaric world until the Lord comes and removes barbarism totally and replaces it with a 100% population of his own born again human children, not Adam's."
Are you the one who once said that young virgin captives were not raped in the Old Testament?
First, your notion of so called "economic reality" is a common excuse which shows no imagination (Or the lack of desire to use it). Horticulture did not require slavery. Everyone could have had their own land and fed themselves from their own labor.
Your saying that your God did not intervene with this world to make it less barbaric, both contradicts other statements made by Biblical apologists and is morally torpid. It is Biblical apologists who claim that the OT laws were "morally" superior to the rest of the non Hebrew world. In any case, your statement is a projection of your moral vacuousness imposed upon the cosmos.
You said that believers are to survive in a barbaric world until the Lord comes. That reads, between the lines as, "believers can be every bit as barbaric as the rest of the world because they have no moral responsibility in this life".
You're basically like the Watchtower with their abominable "wait on Jehovah, he'll take care of it" rationalization which really means that nothing will be done. Jehovah, like your God, is a mental puppet inside of your skull. A ventriloquist dummy who serves as a perfect sounding board for whatever message the pious vampires of the Earth care to declare.
You spoke of sin, which of course removes all sense of moral responsibility from the minds of "born again" believers (How dare they change anything "sinful", they're running ahead of the Lord!).
It is no wonder that Christianity is condemned as an abomination that would justify any depravity. Remember your own words when you next utter one of your slanderous cliches about atheism leading to Genocide.
"God did not intervene in this world to make it slightly less barbaric. ...Believers are to survive in a barbaric world until the Lord comes..."
What a worthless, iresponsible religion!

Observations are not intolerant, they are merely observations.

You obviously don't take much thought of what you're about to say in order to see if there are any discrepancies.
First, your argument is an example of the old phrase, "How can millions be wrong?'
Second, you obviously know nothing about other religions in the past or present. There have been millions upon tens of millions who have believed in ghosts; communication with the dead; and yes, Fairies. Theosophy was one of many mystical philosophies that believed in all of them. Most notable of theosophists in the past was Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, the famed author of the "Sherlock Holmes" detective novels. Not only did he believe in fairies but he actually wrote a book titled "The Coming of the Fairies" which purported to prove the existence of LITERAL fairies (So much for his superlogical book character.)
Theosophy and other similar belief systems, were the 19th and early 20th century equivalent of the New Age philosophies of today. And, not that it matters; because the number of people who believe in something is irrelevant to the reality of that "something"; but have you ever made a count of "born again" Christians in comparison with ALL other "heathen" religions? You can expand this issue to include ALL non Judeo-Christian religions.
And yes, these religions have their own justification from egocentric experience that you "born agains", with your arrogant delusion of exceptionalism, so proudly trumpet.
We Christians are claiming that we KNOW something that cannot be possibly known unless God himself reveals it to a person. This is the exact opposite from the standpoint of the atheist who argues from ignorance and is proud of it.
You and your kind argues from psychosis.

I'm referring to all self righteous Christians who justify Biblical slavery. Slavery is the metaphorical equivalent of a vampire sucking up its victim's blood.
Of course, in your moral vacuousness, you pulled the old pseudo-martyr's trick of crying out intolerance (Part of the general principle of accusing others of what you're guilty of). The type of people you're justifying, which includes the Antebellum slave owning South as well as post Revolutionary War America, are the intolerant ones. But then your genes lack a sense of smelling thy own.

Villabolo,
You are in slavery right now. That is how hate and any sin works.... it dominates and eventually transforms a person, transforming them into the thing that they hate. The great atheist mass murderers of history all hated peace-loving Christians. Mao, Hitler, Pol-Pot, Stalin. They imagined the people who followed the precept to love thy neighbor as oppressive. And, they themselves became the most opressive monsters of history murdering hundreds of millions of your vampires.
The fact is that slavery was never part of God's original design. Slavery starts in the mind as rebellion against God, the author of freedom. It has been with us since the fall of man, long before God started intervening. You cannot change that fact. Another fact that you cannot change is that it was bible believing Christians who led the charge against this evil practice in the US. There are a great many other facts that you and the atheist author of the video ignore:
http://www.wallbuilders.com/LIBissuesArticles.asp?id=120
You also commit the is-ought contradiction in your views as well as some naturalistic fallacy . The fallacy with respect to morality is reasoning from what is the case to what ought to be the case.
But who needs facts when it would only get in the way of your hate?
You and your kind argues from psychosis
Just because others are not like YOU, you proclaim them psychotic. How nice.
JW's attract a lot of social misfits that naturally look upon others as sub-human vampires, thinking of their neighbors as "your kind" instead of fellow human beings with God given rights, dignity, and innate freedom... among which are freedom of speech. Why shed some of your Watchtowerism but hang on to this part? How is that working out for you personally?
You have become the thing that you hate, the cycle is complete. Watchtower 1 - Villabolo - 0
The fact that we are a soul and posess a soul is easily proven to you should God decide to show you prior to your death. I personally know this to be an absolute fact. At death, this is a non issue for everyone. It is the same thing with the risen Jesus. He is alive, inhabits believers and regularly interacts with them. That is a fact different than your personal experience.Furthermore, the creator of the universe greatly desires the well being of his children:
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. - Jer. 29:11
I wish you the best in your journey out of the Tower..... totally out.
