I have maintained an open mind about whether JTB is really a Bethelite or not. On this call, Johnny can't answer the question about what the current stipend is at Bethel. He really fumbled with this question, and wound up going off topic.
Right after Johnny couldn't answer this BASIC question, Rick goes on to call those on JWN "kooks" and that he wants to put finally put this all to rest. WTF? Right after Johnny can't answer the question about the stipend at Bethel, Rick calls the JWN doubters/naysayers "kooks." Yeahhhhhhhhhhhh riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight Rick..Whatever. Johnny could literally say "I'm not really a Bethelite at all" and Rick would probably say something like "Ok! We've got Johnny THE BETHELITE with us tonight!!!!"
This whole JTB thing started out as interesting, went to a fizzle, and now it's just plain ridiculous. I don't believe it now. I'm no longer interested in listening to anything he says.

Wow he couldn't answer that simple question? When I'm sure MANY bethelites have their budget counted down to the penny?

That's awesome! You'd think that if he could come up with some sort of lies. Rick calls the JWNers "kooks" because he's been insulted on the site. But I've gotta say, I'm a bit disappointed with Rick. It seems that he is less concerned with what is "true" than with getting a good story. He's sort of turned into the mass media.

So I just started listening to the call.
OMG...I laughed when I heard the whisper "This is Johnny. It's really hard to speak where I am right now...I'm in the closet."
What a joke. I question the sanity of anyone that takes this guy seriously!

Housekeeping only comes twice a week?!?!? This guy is such a liar. They set up a cord so that he would fall down the stairs! HA!
Bethel is the EASIEST place to leave! But now they are trying to kill him. This is great stuff!

I don't want to come across as being hard on Rick. I like Rick. I think Rick is a good guy. I believe in his cause. I would love to see the Watchtower be held accountable for the lives lost to their publishing corporation and real estate empire.
But I do think that Rick, bless his heart, gets so invested in this, that he can't see the forest for the trees. He's prone to hyperbolic claims such as the recent "worldwide" (!!!!!) prostest (not enough people to hold up the signs they brought in one location). He clearly desperately wants to believe Johnny. And, I understand why he wants this to be true.
I, for one, don't want to be critical just to be critical. I'm interested in hearing the real truth -- not what I want to believe. We've all had enough "Truth" that turned out to be just a big bunch of lies to last us many lifetimes. Give me reality.
P.S. Johnny claims to have mounds of evidence and documents. When asked to supply even just one document just to prove the naysayers wrong, Johnny isn't too enthuastic about it and says he'll think about it.

Me thinks that Rick's opinion of "Johnny" is clear from what he says on the program and how he interacts with him.
