ex-Special Pioneer: Your prose is purple and you sound like you're itching to tell your story. You've been harbouring hurt and outrage for the better part of 17 years.
My response is part empathic, part straight-talking: If the witnesses in that Kingdom Hall actually threatened you with bodily harm, I have no hesitation in deploring their mobish behaviour and genuinely feeling for the threatening experience you went through. It was absolutely not OK for them to subject you to the threat of violence. Now for the straight-talking: If you genuinely believed your wellbeing was threatened, you need to have reported the incident to the police, period. Telling us about it in the overly-dramatic way all these years later will simply elicit a mix of sympathy, disbelief and suspicion regarding your own intentions and motives.
