Semantics, don't you love it....Never stated my position....except from the historical prespective. The Romans did not use impalment as a form of execution. wt once taught Jesus was turned over to the Jews for execution, thus, also proving he was impaled. Historicly not true. That's all I have to say on the matter, it all goes to method, not definiton.
