And this is likewise a simple case of armed criminals taking advantage of unarmed shipping.
They are not protecting their livelihood. They are not fishermen, they are pirates. If ships dumping waste were the issue they would be pirating THOSE ships, not private pleasure and commercial trade vessels.

Just a point here. I have known now for years of the Pirate problem of Somalia. Was this bit of news ignored by these people, or did they just think that God would protect them? Basically, if you step in to fire and think you will not be burned. Do not have an angry heart to those outside the fire who know what fire is, stay away from it and sweep up your ashes.
