Just so you know, I wasn't being sarcastic in the OP. I apologize for the smart-arse tone of my last post in the true Christian thread.
Also, I'll take you up on the your proposition. The way I see it, I've got nothing to lose and everything to gain by reading the most convincing arguments for the Bible. With that in mind, I think I can suppress my biases pretty well.
Well I hope that I can supress my biases as well and give strong consideration to the other side of the coin.
