I wonder if his career will suffer due to this like Keri Russell's show Felicity after she got her haircut? Personally I thought she looked good when she got her hair cut.

From time to time while in Dr.'s office or something I pick up a People magazine or the like, just for a self check. So far I still don't know who about half of those people are, and I still don't care about any of them. If that changes I'm going to go seek help.

My problem with the Bieber-type celebrity is that they don't realize that they're merely a product. The promoter/producer/label could go to any random high school in North America or Europe, grab a random kid, and create the same type of "star." They're not artists, they're contest winners.
Meanwhile guys with real talent labor away in garage or basement bands and nobody gets to hear them.
The music industry sucks.

Mad Sweeny, O how right you are...
Yet, the "masses" gobble up this stuff like it's Filet Mignon on a stick....

That's why we the people need to get off our lazy asses and look for real talent. The corporations killed music. They regurgitate the same shit over and over and stupid people buy it and make a select few (and untalented) people rich.
Good music is out there. It's on the Internet...It's in the local clubs...it's in the bars...it's in your neighborhood. Turn off the radio, go to a live music venue. Talk to the musicians, ask them who they like. It's amazing the stuff they listen to. And when that act comes to town, go see it. And you know what? It's tons cheaper than going to a colisuem/stadium show of over produced schlock rock or pop country shit.
