I met the son of a Plymouth Brethren. He thought JW was a harmless Xtian religion and thought that he was brought up in a cult.
In five minutes of describing his upringing and being tossed out of home at fifteen he used many of the same phrases my father uses over and over again.

When I watched this I kept thinking I hope my JW family that is shunning me is watching too. Hopefully some of the similarities between the brethern and the JWs rang some alarm bells for JWs watching. There is a place for comments on the ACA site under the video. Be good if a lot of exjws commented.

Most Jehovahs witnesses that saw this will mock the bretheren as a cult, in part from the practice of 'no TV and radio'.
They will comfort themselves with the knowledge that they have the 'freedom' and 'choice' as to entertainament within the counsel of the faithful slave, and thus are not a cult.
They will see the cult of the bretheren as mind control by Satan, as they are obviously part of false religion.
They will pray for the GB, thanking Jehovah for these men that so lovingly guide them.
A few at least, might get a bit twitchy in the comfy chair...
