Flowerpower, an 11-14 year old isn't an adult and rarely knows what they're going to think in a single year, much less for the rest of their lives. The law protects them from signing contracts, etc, because of this. So no one born in and baptized so young can POSSIBLY be held accountable and then punished for learning or believing differently later.

But I do agree with what you said here:

I think some peopl baptist without reallt knowing what is in the bible and that your are also dedicate yourself to an organisation

    To flowerpower:

I was baptised as a child, in the great tradition of both my parents who were baptised under the ripe old age of 12. I would take it back if I could. In my country (USA) today, in the English congregations, the majority of baptisms are still being done to those who are 15 and under. No gun to anyone's head. Just, the pressure from JW parents to get their kids baptised, which comes from the GB and trickles down through the congregation. There really is not much of a choice at 9 years old, wouldn't you agree?

But also - even to adults, did you know all the intricacies of the blood policy before you got baptised? Did you know that white blood cells are forbidden, but allowed in breastfeeding? And if you did, did that make sense to you? Does it make sense to you now? If so, then please explain it - because it doesn't make sense to most people JWs and non-JWs alike. It's just that JWs like to pretend it doesn't matter -whatever the GB says, even if they say to kill your children by preventing them blood in medically necesarry procedures, - whatever the GB says - JWs really believe it is God telling them, and not men. Where do you stand on that? What do you do if you understand something differently than the GB? Will you do what you understand God says to do, even if it disagrees with the GB? That's the dillema most here face. What will you do?

I love JWs and ex-JWs, and I enjoy communicating with people on this forum.

I know what JWs believe and why they believe it, and I have personally experienced the attraction of the WT teachings, even those I now know to be wrong.

The WTS isolates JWs and causes them to believe that no one outside the organization cares about them. I want to show them that this is a WT lie.

The WTS leads JWs to believe that if they leave the organization there is nowhere else to go. I want to show them that this also is a WT lie.

I am an evangelical Christian now and I want JWs and ex-JWs who are genuinely interested in exploring that alternative to be able to talk with me.

I care about people on this forum who aren't interested in that at all, and I hope I can share with them unconditional love that none of us experienced in the WTS and its legalistic religious system.

I guess Flowerpower never heard of the old "bait & switch"!

I post here because I like the freedom to doubt, the freedom to ask any question about the wt society and it's multi dozens of teachings, the freedom to voice my disbelief over the foolish new lite! I so enjoy not being afraid anymore, not afraid to stand up to the 'elders', not afraid to think as much of myself as I want, not afraid to stop reporting time, not afraid of being killed at armageddon for every little infraction. Just not afraid.

    That's why

I post here because I am trying to persuade people here to join the new religion I am starting up.

Once enough people recognize that I am the Messiah, I will open my new church, called Cross-dressers for Christ.

    Hallelujah! and Praise the Lord.

I have already appointed my cat as deacon.

Thank you all for posting. I like hearing the comments. All you people are awesome, even the ones I find myself disagreeing with. Isn't it nice to be able to have an open exchange of opinions without the fear that that WT instills?

transhuman, I know you are referring to Lars. That's hilarious. See we even have the ability to have absolutely ridiculous ideals and opinions such as our buddy Lars.
