It stands for "elder no more." I had trouble with that name, myself. So I learned it. I hope he and his lovely wife come again. My coworker says he will get back to me about working that weekend for me, so I won't know for another week or so.
Wow ! This thing is growing already ! Great ! My cell phone is on the fritz- my battery has died and I'm not gonna sign a new contract with Sprint - they suck. Now - In regards to NLW's Wife's questions - Regarding making arrangements of a campground - Tonight I'm going to try reserving 2 campgrounds for 3 nights Fri, Sat, & Sun. Each campground last year could have 6 people per campground sleeping at night. So 12 people in 2 campgrounds. With more people showing interest this year- my recommendation is those of you who want to camp at a campground may want to reserve 1 or 2 extra campgrounds for yourselves in addition to the 2 campgrounds I'm reserving. To get access to the Camp Richardson Campground information - just click on the link to Camp Richardson on the first page of this thread. It will give you all the information you need to reserve a campground . In regards to food NLW's wife- there are huge grocery stores within 2-3 miles drive from the campground. Usually we have found that several of us will make a list once we have set up camp and will go to the store together to purchase food with everybody chipping in money-wise. I will bring all the firewood for burning campfires to cook on.
Now- In regards to those of you who wish to stay at a hotel & motel - I recommend pretty soon into the link on the first page of the thread and reserving motels or hotels , whatever you like. It's a popular holiday up in Lake Tahoe and I'm getting over a months head start compared to last year because last year I slipped in getting the last campsites reserving in April. So thus- the need for prompt action early.

Alrighty then. I cleared the work thing. I am definitely coming. I have to work out the travel specifics but I will be there with a tent and sleeping bag so save me a spot on the campsite for the whole time.
I am going to practice for the Flipper/OTWO rematch by kicking JRK's ass at tennis in March, April, May, and June. JRK's only chance of beating me will be to come to Tahoe where I have had trouble with the altitude. Maybe I will practice with one lung tied behind my back.
OTWO- Very funny stuff ! Glad you are able to come for sure my friend ! My wife suggested asking JWN posters to place bets on who will win in this year's tennis matches ! LOL ! O.K. Gang ! Great news ! Like Jesus once stated " It is accomplished ! " I just reserved 2 campgrounds at the Eagles Nest Camp Richardson campground a few minutes ago ! The same one we had last year at Camp # 525 and on a few feet across the street at camp # 523 . The restrooms are very close and camp # 523 has a water spicket. But water spickets are near the restrooms too outside it. The cost is $ 40.00 per night per campground - so $ 120.00 per campground for 3 nights. I put $ 80.00 down to reserve both- so we can deal with any balances and divvy up the differences once we get there July 4th weekend with whoever stays at the 2 campgrounds.
Also the lady taking my reservation said that 55 % of the campgrounds are reserved already for the 4th of July weekend. So I'd suggest anybody wanting to reserve a campground on top of the 2 I've reserved do so as soon as possible . Last year by early April they were all full. They only require 40% down per campground which is $ 40.00 to reserve one campground so a pretty good deal. So 2 campgrounds reserved near each other for July 1,2, & 3 - Fri.Sat.Sun. nights.
So- we look forward to seeing any of you who can make it ! Gotta cook breakfast- will be back in awhile to give an updated list on the For Sure Comings and the possible/maybes ! Take care
