Want to excorise "bad spirts" from my home how to do this???

I ought to explain what i meant in the subject line...

Yesterday i had a horrible (non jw) person come to my home. He strutted around smug, arrogant and with a typicaly " I yam CYpriot!, I yam am a Maaaaan! I have a PEnis! therefore i yam GOD!... and you are sheeeeeeeeeT!" attitude. ( i've tried to write that with a Cypriot accent btw)

I got rid of him but my home has felt afterwards like it was invaded and the peace that normaly lives within it taken away. I don't belive in demons etc but it feels like this odious man left his bad vibes here.

( am i making sense here? Does anyone know what i'm talking about?)

I'd like a way of restoring the peace to my home and removing this mans "bad spirt".... anyone have any ideas?

I remember giving a 5-min talk in the KH some years ago about a JW sister who accepted a gift from her worldly co-worker (who happened to be a spiritualist). Anyway, cutting to the chase... my talk concluded dramatically when I explained how the elders in her congo eventually came to her rescue and burned the gift (sorry... I can't even remember what the gift was)... All her woes suddenly disappeared... her chronic ilnesses, her bad luck, etc... As I stepped off the stage, I remember thinking: "what an incredibly ridiculous made-up story"... but it was my assignment and I had to stick with the outline (which required me to refer to an old WT mag)...

High dose... you just need a high dose of love from the people who care about you... it'll be fine...

shepard... love that suggestion! i have to confess i've started hating the Cypriots recently. It is a national pastime here to swindle and cheat the brits. They will slap on an extra 50% when they see my white british face. I already learnt a long time back never to give anything out on credit to them as i never saw the money afterwards!

The general attitude is: if you let me swindle you however cunningly i go about it, then you deserve to be swindled. When i first came here and discovered that alot of people and businesses will not do business with the Cypriots i was really shocked... now i'm starting to understand it.

Trouble is i need to get over this hatred and start liking them again. I live here, i work here and i do love living here. So i'm just going to have to tolerate them whilst at all times watching out for the next "trick" they pull.

...and the stupid thing is... they actauly get very anoyed when you stop them from swindling you, they seem to see it as a insult! But the same people will then go to the local taverna that evening and boast to their mates about how much they swindled a Brit out of that day!

if i were to do this in the UK i would be hit with the full force of the law and punished.

You are just lucky you already left the Org. before going to Cyprus. Imagine an arrogant Cypriot with a dose of Elder power and you can imagine the result! The funny thing is all JWs are supposed to be non-racist, but the Cypriot JWs hate the Foreign congregations and will go out of their way to assert their petty minded authority over them. So be glad that you had already left.
