Alright Jay 88, carry on
stuckinamovement - "I commented last night during this study that Jesus condemned the Pharisee's because of their narrow, restrictive, distorted view of the Law and how they were tremendous hypocrites. They thought they knew everything and forced the people to accept their misled views."
A funny little moment for me was when a JW friend mentioned that the Islamic world's problems with extremists started when the majority of Muslims chose to allow a small group of men to interpret the Koran for everybody else; that they had become - in his words - "Pharisaic".
I stopped short, and a little voice inside my head (who I now know to be my critical thinking voice) said: "Wait a minute; by that logic, the Governing Body of the Watchtower are Pharisees!"
