Hey MsDucky
have you been able to keep up with Coffee_Blacks post
her daughter had heart problems caused by a virus
it was rough goin' but things are lookin' good for her
daughter now, the doc even said she can go back to work
maybe if you can read through some of Coffees
post it can give you some encouragement on your heart condition

So sorry to hear about the loss of your sister and your continued battle with cancer. Please don't let the ejection fraction of 39 get you down too much. My husband went into full cardiac arrest on 11/22/10 and was dead for five minutes. It took six shocks from equipment of the rescue workers to revive him. Once in the hospital, his EF was 18. Now it's 25. Coffee Black's daughter also has congestive heart failure, and her EF is 25. Both she and my husband are returning to work on the 14th of this month with an EF of 25. Don't let the words, "heart failure" scare you. It's a very treatable condition.
My thoughts are with you. Everyone here wishes the very best for you. Thanks for the update and keep us posted as much as possible.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family..
A thought on the smoking thing, my husband finally quit after smoking since he was 15, we kept all the healthy things he loved in the fridge. Carrots, tangarines etc. so he could grab something good for him instead of giving in to the cravings. He was 65 when he finally did it. 6 years ago. He tried so many times. I know you will do it too!
