Oh Dana!! I was about to bombard you with questions!
Yes very similar. We have had at least a couple of Ex Mormon members.
Lol! Maybe I should change the title.
Yep, saw it. A lot of the same kinds of whackadoodle as JWs...

LOL Dana
So, when is there going to be a "YouTube" for "I am an ex Jehovah's Witness." I thought they did a good, very positive message of their experience. They spoke of their sincerity, but their knowledge was increasing and them getting a conflict with what the LDS church was saying. That they are so much happier now. I enjoyed one girl, Michelle, said "like a judge that has to reverse their decision because of new evidence," that she had to change or leave the church.
There were so many similarities in comments like here on JWN.
OMG! Is this the series finally of Big Love? Love it!
Lol @ publishing cult! I don't think it is.
Gayle, that's what I was thinking. I wonder how we could make that happen. I actually got this from the guy who's making "Losing My Religion". I wonder if he's thinking of doing something like this next. At the very least, maybe it would make non-JW people more aware of the dangers.
my name is sean and im stoned... look at my eyes!
but seriously its really cool, i bet the kids were so frikkin happy they left.
no but seriously.
nah, im pleased for them to exit your belief system is a profoundly affecting thing.
sometimes not always so daunting as a neccesity as the realisation of real life and some form of sincere truth absorbs you.
truth being, the daunting prospect that what you saw as your world and reality is not
and then being able to step away from that is enormous and liberating
i sincerely wish them all the best
