I have used the Gestalt method of dream interpretation. Put simply, you are everyone in the dream. To analyze it you take a character out of the dream, even a car, and ask them why they are in this dream and what their role is. It is really powerfully accurate.

The Gestalt method you mentioned is something I'd be more likely to buy into, Viola. It makes more sense to me.

I spent 5 yrs with a therapist who was highly trained in Gestalt. He helped me interpret many dreams. I cannot interpret your dream, you have to do that b/c you are the one who had the dream. The key to it it very simply, you are everyone and everything in the dream and they are you. You take each character in the dream and ask them why they are there and their purpose. I know it may sound odd, but it really does work.
Gestalt is much more logically based than other methods of dream interpretation. -

According to dream dictionary the child represents myself.The robber represents represseed feelings.The gun is a symbol of anger and power.Does anybody else have any idea what it could mean.
