I just finished reading Red Bird Down, written by a pilot I flew with in Vietnam. I am currently ready HUnter Killer Squadrons, written by another pilot from Vietnam, but one I didn't know. Both are about Air Cavalry Operations in Vietnam and are helping me further understand what I was doing over there, besides being used for target practice.

As to what I listen too, pretty much anything, especially 60s oldies.

Rem, i really loved 'Guns,Germs,&Steel' and haven't finished 'Atheism, the Case Against God.' If you like "Guns ..." i think you'll like his other book "The Third Chimpanzee." Great books.

    What i'm currently reading:

    1. "The Bible Myth, African Origins of the Jewish People" by Gary Greenburg. Top-rate, i can hardly put it down!

    2. "101 Myths of the Bible" Gary Greenburg. Very good too.

This guy links the Jews to the Egyptians in a most fascinating way.

    Listening to:

    Mamas and Papas
    Enya
    Oldies

Francois, i would really recommend the 2 books by Greenburg. One is in paperback and the other in hardback.

Mike, thanks for the interesting thread.
