It is a curious thing, however, as to why she was not allowed to watch children's cartoons.
Well most were pretty violent.
I didn't even let my kids watch the Flintstones. I heard enough of the husband screaming at his wife with my parents. I didn't think they needed to learn it was funny.
Michelle is really good. I had no idea she was raised a JW. You sure wouldn't guess it from her films! :-))

Michelle is awesome in all her movies.
I don't think it would have been the violence that her parents had a problem with (though maybe it was). It was probably more to do with the occult considering the two examples she gave were The Smurfs and Snow White, both of which have an evil sorceror/witch.
I wonder if her parents are still in, and what they think of her tough-chick roles.

Yeah, she really made somethin' out of her life after leaving/fading/whatever. There's no way she'd have the respect and success she has if she'd stayed a dutiful JW.
Ironically, a dutiful JW would agree with every word I just said, and view her "worldy" respect and success as a negative.
I wonder what her mom thought about her blowing zombies away in Resident Evil, or straddling Vin Diesel in The Fast and the Furious.
I wonder what her mom thinks about her liking women. She was dating the Terminator 3 girl some years back.
Is that why she looks pissed off all the time?
