Indeed they are promoting hate, but they will never tell that, will they? I'm a disfellowshiped person and I feel the hate, SOCIAL ISOLATION, and the cut off from family ties. If you ask anyone who is in the possition like me, they will say that our human rights are violated. So it is better for the WT to start respecting the human rights for their ex-members if they do not wish Goverments to go after them..

Over the years the society has become more hard line on Df'd relatives. In the past it was ok for family members to communicate to a limited extent but now it is actively discouraged. My sister has not spoken to me since the df'ing and made it clear she has no intention to do so she tried to persuade my mother to do the same.

Internationally some cultures find the process contrary to their tradition and do not comply with it and the society is trying to control them.

As I pointed out on another thread DFing is a form of bullying which is allowed in no other setting. If this was practiced at work, school or in a social setting action would be taken against the perpetrators so why is it allowed in the area of religion. It is a medieval practice and should be consigned to history surely we have grown up since then.

Punkofnice, those pictures are absolutely priceless (and sadly, all too true)........I'd like to get some printed off as huge posters and go plaster them on the walls of where they have the summer ASSemblies.........

We need a few short phrases to attack Df'ing in conversations.

    "bullying" - excellent!

    "cult behavior" - good

    "hate speech" - good

    add some more.............
