I am so excited for you. Freedom of mind is the greatest, most important freedom there is.

“Freedom of mind is the real freedom. A person, whose mind is not free though he may not be in chains, is a slave, not a free man. One, whose mind is not free, though he may not be in prison, is a prisoner and not a free man. One who is not free though alive, is no better than dead. Freedom of mind is the proof of one’s existence.” ~Dr. B. R. Ambedkar.

Thanks, I'm ordering my copy. Been too long to not have read it yet. An essential.

It is essential for your own peace of mind.

My wife and I, both die-hard dubs for more than 25 years, read C of C in 2003. The lights all came on and we realized we'd been in the dark for decades. We are now blissfully absent from the KH and all things JW, leading a happy, balanced life in harmony with a higher power.

This book changed my life .... ok I'd been Dfd and had resolved never to go back....but reading this set me free in a major way. I wrote and thanked Ray a few weeks before he died and got a lovely reply. I hope you both enjoy it, although its a painful ride.

I'm only into the second chapter because I am reading it very slowly and carefully so I don't miss any key points.

Ray seems like he was a very sincere, honest and insightful person.

I have the next book In Search of Christian Freedom but I havent finished it yet. It astounded me the colossal amount of work he put into these books, and yes a gentle caring man, not bitter at all.

He was no dummy, either. He wrote major portions, if not all, of the "Aid" book.
