I'm a creationist and i believe in evolution!

Probably sounds really bizzare to you peeps.

Sorry about confusing you all but i know what i believe!

Peace *whoops probably shouldn't have said that as so many ''atheists'' on here have a problem with that greeting*

I am a creationist who accepts evolution as well. (just not a young earth creationist, or a biblical inerrantist creationist)

You know, when those fish symbols first started coming out on the back of people's cars? I didn't think anything of them until one day I saw a fish symbol with legs.

I was soooooo excited. In my head, I'm like, "YES. People are getting it!!!"

I thought people were saying with those symbols that evolution is the means God used in creation.

Then I found out it was just the same old same old back and forth, this or that. A little disappointed, but such is life.

Science and God cannot be in conflict. Only our understanding (of either one) can be wrong... putting them in conflict.

    Yan,

Why don't you do the research and find out What God is the first and last of? It does not mean he was created.

    Tammy,

Again you blew me away with your comments. I enjoy reading all of them.

    Waterspout,

I am with you. Peace to you, (cuz I know it won't seem obnoxious to you), Lilly

    Lilly,

I am ignorant, I don't know any of the creationist "stuff", you explain something to me, I point out a contradiction in your statements and what do you do? You send me off to do research on your statements....

    Is that how it works?

If you don't know or fully understand say so, no big deal...

The burden of proof falls on the shoulders of the claimant, not the opposers....

...but there I go again saying this uncomfortable word PROOF....

We will not settle this in any way shape or form here, or anywhere to that effect. Just thought that it was a low jab to tell me to (figuratively) f.off and go do more research on a subject you are trying to explain to me...

Be that as it may, I still wish you best in all.

    yan,

It is not a contradiction. God was not created. He is the alpha/omega first and Last because he is the beginning and end of all things in existance.

I wonder if God asks himself where he came from? LOL

...he is the beginning and end of all things in existance

...except himself, ofcourse. Which would mean that he is NOT the beginning and the end of ALL things in existence.

Unless, he does not exist...see how it gets confusing....

    Yan,

The problem is you are comparing God's existance to his creation and thinking of him in the sames terms. God is not human he is spirit. He is infinite and we are not. He is eternal and we are not. He exists outside our concept of space and time.

Your one God and Father of all, who is over all and throughall and in all. (ephesians 4:6)

Above is a very deep thought. Hard to fully grasp because nothing we know of exists in our span of space and time that can possibly be over all, through all and in all. Yet that is what the bible says God is. But again, we cannot compare God to anything else in existance.
