    Hello Timmy mate x

I think things are coming to a head to be honest. They know something is up. You know something is up......

I know you say you want to fade in your own time, in your own way, but I think the longer you leave it the more pain you will endure in the end.

Behind your back, the rumour mill is in overdrive....do you really want to put yourself through the indignity of all the dirty looks, snide remarks, gossip, lies....and going to a JC where you wont win?

Tim, Im so pleased you are out, and finally beginning to be the real you. I promise you, leaving the bOrg does NOT mean abandoning your faith! You and God have a direct relationship that does NOT need their approval! The sooner you get this over with, the sooner you can start living your real life, cult free.

Dont go back out on FS....what are they gonna do? Rip out your entrails? Tell them you no longer believe the FDS are the only channel of communication through with God works......and REFUSE point blank to be drawn any further. REFUSE to go to meetings, and REFUSE to attend the inevitable JC.

You DONT NEED THEM.....you already have what you need. Gods Love x

Wish you all good things my friend.x

    Love, Paula x

The next elder that gives you grief, just start flirting with him. That'll trip them out big time and send them running. Then deny everything ;)

What was it that separated Jesus from the world? It certainly wasn't his dress or facial hair:

Tell then you have a "Higher" authority then the FDS.

Jesus is said to have had a beard. Jehovah created men to have a beard. There is nothing in the Bible that says a beard is a grave sin damning one's soul.

Jehovah wrote the Bible, not the FDS tract of the month.

Iv kind of had enough of listening to this kind of argument about the organisation. Im not dissing it though because i think they have more right than wrong, but i do believe its become too much like a business than an association or cooperation to help people.

They are completely and utterly wrong about everything, Timothy. If you can't afford Crisis of Conscience from the publisher Commentary Press, you can find it on scribd in the meantime and read it online.

Ask the JW, 'What do you think the householder will find more attractive? Someone discussing the Bible firsthand, using a Bible they are more likely to be familiar with, and then, at the end of the visit or after a return visit or two..placing some literature with them. Or, someone who is shoving an unknown Bible and unknown tract from a religion that is 'suspect' in their eyes." And, as for the beard, "I have it on good authority that the brothers in Europe wear a beard. There is nothing in the Bible against it."

I agree that it is stupid. So what if you are gay? I don't have a problem--aside the waste of time trying to teach it to small children that need to make that decision for themselves instead of learning it in school at the expense of basic education, or trying to force me into it. It is a personal preference matter, and if the witlesses make a big deal about it, that's their problem.

And the whole work is a waste. You go to the door, present a waste of paper with an invitation to the REJECT Jesus Party, and leave for the next door. This is a complete waste of your mind. Then, when the event comes, most of the witlesses there are going to reject Jesus anyways--if you are going to reject Jesus, don't even bother wasting the gas and time fighting the crowds and listening to a sales pitch and guilt trip at the end. To me, this is not actual service.

As I see it, Jesus himself did not come out and say anything against homosexuality. That was Paul, mistaken the Old Testament, that wrote that in. Jesus was very tolerant of just about everyone--except those who make it their business to mislead and enslave everyone else. Jesus had zero tolerance for people that wanted everyone to be their slaves, and to extract the value of their lives for themselves. Jesus would accept people, gay or "straight" (it is a personal preference issue), and not expect them to change. If you mature and later change, that is also your choice. But, for a religion to come out and treat gay people like crap just because they are gay is bad--Jesus didn't, so any so-called Christian religion shouldn't either.

You are not following a good strategy to lay low. It's a religious publishing cult with sales campaign agendas. Just like in a secular sales group, if you don't follow the company sales pitch the Supervisors (Elders) will coach & counsel you to conform to the Company guidelines on grooming, sales approach, etc. If you must stay in longer, then just be smarter about it. Good luck.
