I was reviewing some of the topics 10yrs. ago, notice most of
topics were rater mild in regard to the witnesses..Today, wow,
what change. The JW,s are a dangerous cult, the gov. body are
A bunch of mentally challenge old men. Not only have we become bold
in our pronouncement against the JW,s but also against Religion as
A whole. The topics today, there is no holding back.
I noticed the same thing.
I think we were all a blossoming flower.

10 years ago this was a JW forum dedicated to coming to a better knowledge of the Truth. Then everyone became apostates. LoL. Unless you meant the posts after the change over...

When I joined this board it was Pro-JW. If it wasn't I'm almost sure there was an JW forum similiar that was pro-dub.
I left this board.Came back.Left again. Read a few post and teeter-tootered and read the post over the years. If anything everything on here really started to make sense around 06', 07' for me.
If I can recall correctly there was an board- H2O- something to that affect. It was known to have all the apostates. Of course I thought everyone there had lost their mind.
If I only knew then and opened my eyes.
I miss so many great regulars who have left along the way. It feels like we have mostly newer posters these days. That's a good thing, I do miss the others though. Yesterday Abaddon came back to post a thread. That was pretty cool.
I started lurking on here in 2007, so JWD was well down the road to perdition by then LOL.
I did though, go back and read as many of the old threads as I could, fascinating stuff ! It was interesting to see the evolution of the site,( see creationists, Evolution is a fact ! ) and to see the gradual maturing of opinion, which I believe still continues, I mean , just look at how Outlaw has matured !
I think too that because of the interchange of ideas, many questions that new members have are answered in a succinct phrase or two with pertinent references, so the old debates do not need to be repeated at such length.
Many treasured posters have moved on, a shame in a way, some were so brilliant in their wit and wisdom, and many so eloquent in their writing, that I felt dwarfed and humbled, I still do by many who contribute here now.
We owe it to new members to point out the Treasure that awaits within the archive of threads on here, it is priceless !
It's called growing up and finding our voice. Long may it continue!
