I wasn't talking about whether, or not, a hand can be seen in the image, but seeing as you want to ....

A subliminal image is intended to convey a message. What message does it convey?

That whole book is full of images that are a conscious and blatant effort to plant specific and recogniseable ideas in the mind of the reader, yet somehow, that gets overlooked in favor of some WT artist's doodle.

it may well be a 'doodle', but what is it doing there?

You answer the question and then ask it in the same sentence. As for the GB being responsible for it because they proof read it ... you are crediting them with way too much intelligence.

James May got sacked form Autocar for this.

Both items were there solely for the amusement of the perpetrator.

Has anyone ever call or written to the Society about subliminal pictures? What did they say?

I think Black Sheep's point is an important one.

Why are people focusing on the possibility that there are subliminal images in Borg artwork when the artwork itself is clearly and blatantly manipulative in its own right? Why not focus on the coercive nature of the artwork and the language used in the literature rather than chase after subjective baloney?
