You could be earning money from your hobby, from the very thing that you enjoy as a past time in life. You may not be aware how to do so, but others here can assist you in showing ways forwards. What have you got to lose by stating your hobby / interest here?

Me? Making artwork out of recycled materials.

    hmm lets see..

there are a few things that interest me but unfortunately i dont think i'm good enough at any of them to make a career out of it but maybe one day, who knows. one thing is videography which i've dabbled in just a little. another is writing which i've been doing for quite a long time although mostly just for theraputic reasons. And my other hobby is rooting on my hometown teams..got any ideas on making $$ at that i'd love to hear it ;)......hmm me a sports writer? i dont think so.

here is a Post I just made on the thread: Ex-JW fundraising ideas

I do computer graphics.... make 'em on vinyl,. like stickers or, as "We" like to call 'em, Decals.

I thought about offering to make some for Simon and for bill @ Silentlambs, donating to them so they could generate some revenue with them. Like the www. decals, or anything logo-wise, one I had in mind for Bill, is of a baby in hands.

Here is a pic of it,I ran across a while back and converted it to Vector and can output it to plotter, I've been wanting to use it somewhere but haven't been able to yet.
It is one of the most precious things I've ever seen, think I'll mess with it a bit and then make the offer to Bill,... any suggestions welcome.

P.S .I can make anything, stickerwise,... vinyl etc.

awwwwww, tiger that is so adorable. How can I do plain line drawings like that? What I am looking for is a program or something that allows me to do line drawings from pic's. Hubby and I do woodburning (pyrography) and it is hard to find line drawings to work from.

For anyone who is interested in woodburning go to:

    * http://www.woodburner.com

That is my hubby's site. He is doing real well with it. At last, a lost artform comes alive again!

Whoa! I checked out you hubby's website,. thats kewl!!

I Use 3 or 4 different programs,. sum to convert graphics,.. sum just to open and export to my main program, which is Signlab,. thats the one that I specifically use for vector format (line drarwings, hehe), to cut on my plotter.

Adobe illustrator is great,..not user friendly, then there is corel draw. Point size and fills and Raster, and vector graphics is the most confusing world out there, people have no idea,..

Soon, I hope vector graphics will begin to fill up the Net, SVG, scalable vector graphics is the latest buzz at an attempt to make conversions to mainstream vector usage, as is warranted,. they are crisp, clean, and bandwith friendly. OH chit,.. I'm rambling!!

I have tons of graphics you guys are welcome to any, just email me and I can help you with more in the line of directions of what you need to use them with. It may be possible to just get a viewer to catalog to print and use them from there. Currently I am attempting to catalog all of mine,. up to 6,000 or more and still have thousands to go! Rambling again!! Sorry.
Just email me if ya want and I'll help ya.

My main hobby is music and I'm intrested in the quality reprodution of it.
I've learnt a lot about hifi and stuff and would like to open a shop that caters for people with large record collections by selling quality record player and styluses so that they will be able to keep spinning the black stuff well into the end of this centuary.
More people are intrested in convenience nowadays than quality which is a shame as good quality music reprodution can enhance your musical pleaure greatly.
In the town where I live there is a great record shop that still stocks all new releases on vinyl anyone still intrested in buying records should contact www.Diverse-music.co.uk
