Youtube has the wonderful functionality of video responses. I have seen JW members provide some responses and even then not very many. Why hasn't the Watchtower utilized this functionality and offer offical responses to their accusers?

Maybe its because they don't have a strong enough argument to contravene the presented information.
They did do something unusual and that was put out their own video, which was self procuring propaganda
in support of the organization. When viewing it one couldn't help noticing that the phrase " Preaching the Truth "
was mentioned over and over again by all the commentators, who were GB members.
They even said C Russell was preaching the truth, which was really surprising and caught me off guard.
The only thing Russell taught was comprised bullshit to attract attention to his own published literature.

Outlaw, you would think that the sheer arrogence of the GB would move them to defend themselves? For all these years they were doing the exact same thing the JW Apostates are doing now. Exposing religious lies, hypocracy and misinformation. That's what fueled them; they felt like they were on a divine mission of exposing false religion while at the same time ignoring the fact that they were constructing, and assuming, a role within it.

Since their only chosen method to proselytize is using their foot soldiers to distribute their printed propaganda, don't see why they would embrace YouTube just to answer critics.
The question has been brought up before: IF their message is the ultimate live-saving one for all humankind, WHY aren't they embracing the media tools we have today to reach mass audiences? No business uses the door-to-door sales method anymore.

JWS are pre-trained to admonish opposers to their doctrines, any expressive thought contrary
to the WTS doctrines are said to be the voice or derived from Satan and his wicked legions.
Its this super-imposed fear why JWS are unconcerning and dismissive when confronted with opposition to the WTS.
Hell they are told not even to talk to anyone who speaks in opposition, that includes family members.
For the WTS. to make official video responses to other videos viewed on Youtube would be going against their
rules of conduct when approached with evil apostates.
The WTS. would rather have their devoted followers not talk to these people at all, for reasons you mentioned.
Power is nothing if you don't have the mechanisms in place to retain that power.
