What excellent news came in this mornings post. An invitation to travel upto London on the 26th of February to meet Prince Charles at the opening ceremony of The Bromley By Bow Centre at which Lord Peyton will also be in attendance.

Really, really looking forward to it. The invitation came through from The Community Action Network, can't wait, wey heyyyyyyy!!

What fun! I met him years ago, when he visited the branch of the Civil Service I was working in after leaving school.

He's really quite short. But very nice.

Prince Charles is short? He looks quit tall on TV.

Celtic, see if you can take a few pic's as a memento.

I don't want someone in my life I can live with. I want someone in my life I can't live without.

    Celt:

Perhaps you could remind him of the peerage he (sort of) promised me a while ago. Duke of Suffolk, or something.

He should know about it, I've sent him 15,764 emails to [email protected]

    There's a good chap.

Prince Charles is a nice man, I met him and Princess Diana in happier times when they all lived at Highgrove. My daughter was very ill at the time, they both showed extra-ordinary kindness and concern both during and after the Ball.

Diana was radiant, friendly and above all a wonderful hoast who put us at our ease.

We cried when we heard Diana had died, and sent Charles a card - to which he personally replied.

Don't beleive the publicity, Prince Charles is a straight, caring and sincere man. Pity there are not more like him about

Yes, he cared for Camilla straight away, old boy!

Sorry, I just have a problem with anyone who cheats on their spouse. Be it on your side of the pond or ours.

Here's a question: Why does Charles (justifiably) take flak for cheating, but Diana doesn't get 1% of the flak for her same indiscretions? Even before her death, her unfaithfulness was excused because Charles was such a distant hubby.

My understanding (and I follow the royals as little as humanly possible) is that theirs was a political marriage, like almost every "royal" marriage in European history. So why is it that only he seems to get bashed for not loving her?
