    shel,

I do love you, you know. In the most noble way, and have always loved you since our first meeting in San Diego in 2000. In the most noble way. Since the hundred dollars in the gift card you gave to me after the mexican food on Newport St. in OB., which brought tears to my eyes. Since the hundred dollars that I gave back got lost in your Mercedes until you needed it many months later and found it while you were cleaning your car.

Shelby sent me money when I never asked for it. Shelby got me signed up for Social Security and other programs when I never asked for it. Shelby has been the most steadfast friend anyone could ever want.

I've met and spent lots of time with Shelby over TEN years. Those of you who hate her, don't know her.

I'm one of the biggest critics of wackos. I think Shelby just might be a wacko, too. But of all the wackos in all the gin joints in all the world, I will give Shelby lots of chances. Because after all, she has always remained a steadfast and loyal friend of mine.

I'm still trying to teach her logic, though. It's a long process.

I'm sorry you're so tired and sick and still hurting... and BORED! I'm glad you let it out and vented though, even if just a little. It helps. I hate being sick too. I can handle being bored, or maybe I've never been sick long enough to get that bored, but the pain and the sickness... I understand the weariness that comes with that. I also find that its as soon as I reach the end of my rope and have some sort of weeping/shouting/whatever venting episode (not that this is that on your part...), then almost immediately, whatever is wearing me down comes to an end.

What could help with your boredom? Books - the just for fun kind -... or maybe movies and television series that you could lose yourself in for a few days ... a different kind of music to listen to when you'd rather just lie still while you're feeling sick or in pain?

    I am thinking of you.

Peace and love and healing to you,

    Tammy

I hope you get to feeling better. What kind of books do you like? I'm sending you a PM.

You must be a remarkable person, you have Farkel wrapped around your finger!

    jeff,

: You must be a remarkable person, you have Farkel wrapped around your finger! You must be a remarkable person, you have Farkel wrapped around your finger!

To know her is to like her, and I don't like hardly anyone!

I mean this, Jeff. Shel is a gem in the rough and she needs my help with logic. She hasn't admitted that to me yet, but if she loves me as much as I think she loves me, she will ask me for help with logic. Like she did ten years ago and never took my advice to heart. Shel is subborn and I'm not even sure if she appreciates how much I can help her move up in her career and life.

If you're going to kick anything, kick a bad habit!

Hope you feel better soon. At least you have the doggies to sit with you.

Shelby, so sorry you are having difficulty accepting your down time :-) You evidently refused to take necessary rests on your own, so your body and spirit collaborated and forced you to do it. And yet...you're still fighting it. Indeed, Farkel must be right. You are one stubborn woman!

But, this, too, shall pass and you will be back up and running 90mph in no time, I'm sure. You have many many friends right here on this board sending positive vibes your way (or prayers, as the case may be). Stop and breathe them in and know you are loved and appreciated by so many, dear. I'll say it: May peace be with you....and joy...and patience....and whatever you need you heal your body and spirit...........journey-on

First... . You folks have really touched my heart. Second, I feel better already , just reading your lovely thoughts. Third, I really cannot watch another movie, right now... and I have been outside in the sun, to the extent I can (which IS lovely, when the sun is out, which hasn't been the case here, lately, and my stamina can handle it).

I love you people. Individually... and collectively. How can I not? Regardless of your beliefs... or lack thereof... you are always genuine. Who can not love that?

    Peace to you all!

YOUR servant and a slave of Christ,

SA (who understands your logic, my dear, dear Farkel... and you KNOW I love you, honorably, too!... but thinks it gets in the way of "reality" sometimes, so will pass... for now)

Awwww Shelby! [Peace and healing love to you] I really feel for you... It's awful when you just feel poorly, let alone when your in recovery mode from major surgery! It will get better, just view each new day as one day closer to being back to your normal active self. Tammy is right, sometimes when you vent is does relieve the frustration even if only a little...Vent anytime you want, we're all here to listen, offer support and show you love.

You are in my prayers, love you loads.
