It's a bit too far for me, Syl. Have a good Passover. Shalom!

    Thank you, my brother, GL.

    Peace to you, also.

Syl... Is baking powder a 'leaven', like yeast?

    Yes, ma'am.

    Baking soda, too.

Thanks :) The only flour in my house is that 'all-mixed in' kind. But I think I'll make my own flatbread for tomorrow night, so I'll need plain flour.

How much wine can we have, and can we scoop up salsa with the bread??

As much as we can handle; just don't get drunk, Berengaria.

If bitter greens were eaten at the first Passover meal, I see nothing wrong with salsa.

By the way, what's it like being named for a queen of England who never set foot there?

Not to mention never consummating the marriage, so they say

I read a book called "The Lute Player" many many years ago, and had to read up on her. I just loved her tragedy, and her name. She seemed quite long suffering and dignified.

Word on the Roman roads was that her husband, Richard I, was gay.

Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Queen Boadicea and Eleanor of Aquitane also strike my fancy.

Katherine of Aragon was such a tragic figure.
