That was me for many years. I went once a year to memorial to "support my family"
I quit going to memorial a few years ago. "Supporting my family" was just an easy way out since pressure is always applied to attend at least this once..
Supporting a religious cult even if only once a year was something I could no longer stomach.
I felt much happier when I made that final decision. Free At Last

As a 'born again' Christian attending (never been JW), should I make a point and partake or let the sham, sad excuse for memorial be ignored as invalid. How would a JW perceive a Christian partaking at their event? Would it help or hinder witness? Are there usually non-JWs, inactive ones? What is the best way to be a witness for Jesus here? Are they inclined to want to dialogue with the prospect after?
