Hmmm...yeah. The bread pan urban legend is in the Bible Teach book. I recall reading that and I pointed out that it would be unjust to blame and punish the bread for having a dent in it if the baker was too lazy or uncaring to fix the dent before making bread. That story, instead of explaining sin, makes God look evil and corrupt.
That did not go over well at all.
'And don't you love how someone has to pass the emblems in front of the guys who just walked all around the all carrying them? I mean, if they wanted to, they could have taken a nibble or sip any time they wanted. Why all the ritual?'
I've always thought this part of the passing of the emblems as a circus act. Its' almost too embarrassing to watch. Talk about 'showy display!'
