Sorry, but honestly, I would not watch it if I were incapacitated in a hospital bed, with a TV receiving only that one channel and no visitors.
Why? One word: books.

Here in the UK the build up is actually quite low-key, though no doubt it will become more important by Thursday. What IS noteworthy are the amount of news reports on the BBC and independent news stations on the reaction to the wedding in America and Japan.
You guys are waaaay more into it than we are!
To answer the question, we've got plans for Friday night so no, I won't be watching but I wish them well.

If I'm not the king, I'm not interested.
Theres a definate male \ female divide over here as to who is interested.
my good friends in the UK have always told me that the royals are considered a joke in their own country.
There are a lot of Brits who are extremely proud of our Monarchy... The vast majority of people i have met love the Royals. We will be watching the Royal wedding, we have flags and everything!
I know loads of people who are having street partys... I'm really excited!
Peace
I'll be watching the Royal Wedding. I watched Wills' parents' wedding, and all the other royal weddings since.
I think it will be nice.
I will be very busy that day as I have my apostaparty to prepare for. Lots of cooking and frenzied cleaning of the house. I will take time to get a sneaky peak of the dress and a bit of the pomp and ceremony.
At least if I need anything the shops will be empty. Whoo hoo
i watched charles and diana do the deed
in the company of the episcopalian priest
i was dating at the time... he had studied
in canada and england and considered
himself anglican... he had their prayerbook
and hymnal ... his insights and the wine
made it a pretty interesting experience....
(his voice was drop dead sexy... seriously sexy...
he could fill the first pews at the eucharist service
at 8 am sunday morning.... what he liked to call
"mass for the particularly pious".... )
this time around..... i hope i am sleeping at 4 am
Kate said my invite must have got lost in the mail. I will be watching it. :) I remember as a child watching Diana and Charles and was in awe of the ceremony.
