remember how he had such a cool and understated manner? He could get away with saying things that would give the more pious JW's reason to wince but he was so respected that no one would take offense

I know he had doubts because we discussed them. We all had doubts; some of us just acted on them. And as for the weekly margaritas...well...back then, as you mentioned, Ldrnomo was still an elder! Our conversations were so 'out there,' he would have had to report us. :)

I remember watching her perform at Borders in Tacoma (she did a great Dave Matthews cover). We had mutual friends, and one of her relatives was my boss at the craft store I worked at (way back in the day, when I was 17). Small world!
I just started watching The Voice on Hulu out of boredom, and about crapped my pants when I saw Vicci Martinez on there!
