What did Jesus teach that Paul doesn't?

As I sit and wait I'm reading John chapters 3-7.
Jesus' own words. I see the same message that I get from Paul. Over and over again.

To be fair, the generally accepted gospels & most letters attributed to Paul were written in the 1st century, just a generation or 2 (there's that word again!) after Jesus' life.
It is unusual that the books written closest to the time of Jesus where by a man that never met him. It is a bit like me writing about Knorr, I really have no idea about him other than hearsay. At least some of the gnostic books were written by people that claim to have spoken directly with Jesus.

How do you know this? It is my impression too that the gnostic gospels were written decades or even centuries after the days Jesus was on the Earth. For all we know, those books were written by other people who were writing down stories that were passed orally for all this time.

Jesus taught that we must observe the Mosaic Law, according to the Sermon on the Mount. One letter of the law will not pass away before all these things occur.
However, Paul said not to worry about Sabbaths, and not to worry about circumcision. These are both central to the law, and obviously against what Jesus taught.

Luke 10:25-28
On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. "Teacher," he asked, "what must I do to inherit eternal life?"
"What is written in the Law?" he replied. "How do you read it?"
He answered: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"
"You have answered correctly," Jesus replied. "Do this and you will live."

Are you forgetting that we are under the New Covenant?
Jer 31:31-34
31 “The days are coming,” declares the LORD,
“when I will make a new covenant
with the people of Israel
and with the people of Judah.
32 It will not be like the covenant
I made with their ancestors
when I took them by the hand
to lead them out of Egypt,
because they broke my covenant,
though I was a husband to [a] them, [b] ”
declares the LORD.
33 “This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel
after that time,” declares the LORD.
“I will put my law in their minds
and write it on their hearts.
I will be their God,
and they will be my people.
34 No longer will they teach their neighbor,
or say to one another, ‘Know the LORD,’
because they will all know me,
from the least of them to the greatest,”
declares the LORD.
“For I will forgive their wickedness
and will remember their sins no more.”Hebrews 8:13 "By calling this covenant “new,” he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and aging will soon disappear."
Jesus was asked when the end of the age would come. The age that they were in at the time was the old covenenat age. When the temple was distroyed in 70AD the old covenant ended. "Will soon disappear".
No one was ever saved by adhering to the Mosiac Law. Because no man can keep the Law.
If we are no longer teaching our neighbor [the Law] how can he keep the Law? Because the spirit of the Law is in his heart.
If we love God with our everything we will try our best to keep the Spirit of the Law but we will fail.
The grace of God, made posible by the sacrifice of Christ, allows God to forgive our shortcomings and remember our sins no more.

Paul NEVER talks about what Jesus taught, or even mentions the miracles.
You know, that never occurred to me. Perhaps that makes Paul one of the more honest writers of the Bible.

Do we really have the unexpurgated writings of Paul ? I doubt it. It is more than likely that we have edited versions, and some writings attributed to him are not his at all.
However,as a historical figure it seems Paul got the Jesus cult really moving, his blend of Judaic thought and Hellenic mythos appealed to the Gentile world especially.
Later what he had started evolved in to the various Churches that remain today, Roman, Eastern,Coptic etc. based mainly on the writings we say are Pauls.
The true words and teachings of Jesus are simply not in existence. Traces of them are of course in Paul , Acts and the Gospels etc. but the genuine words and actions of the man are lost.
I hope one day they will surface, if indeed anyone did faithfully and accurately record them.
Until then we can only debate the myth and legend that has come down to us.
