How can the world be said to "really be" a certain way? We all see it differently. To say that some see it as it really is and others do not is simply a way of asserting the dominance of certain interests. In this instance the dominance of non-JW worldviews over the JW worldview. It's a matter of taste that's all.
How do we test our OWN philosophy or world view?

It is all about VECTORS.
For something to "be" it must exist in a PLACE at a TIME.
You have on your person identification which consists of VECTORS:
your photograph, date of birth, place of birth, height, weight, address, etc. which must CORRESPOND to reality or you aren't given
the privilege of driving, opening a bank account, traveling abroad, obtaining credit, marrying, etc.
If we make an appointment to meet at the Eiffel Tower it will not happen unless we create VECTORS: the month, the date, the hour and the location (Paris).
We can't access our Bank account without VECTORS: account numbers, balance figures, etc.
I could not post these words and have you respond unless the vectors of my I.P. address, log in, password and URL matched exactly.
Yet-they do even though you feel:
We all see it differently.
About matters of TASTE, opinion, feeling AND belief we can see differently...and do. But, about matters of FACT it can be stated:
we are entitled to our own opinion--NOT to our own FACTS.

I have no doubt (I think!) that the world actually is a certain way. What I said is something different, namely how can the world be said to really be a certain way? Language is not a reliable reflection of reality. And yet we can only understand and share the world through language. Therefore we cannot understand or share the world as it really is.

Wouldn't you have TO KNOW how the world REALLY IS to know that we can't understand and share how it REALLY IS?
What I'm saying is that yours is somehow simultaneously a KNOWING and UNKNOWING statement.
How is that possible?
Sort of like the fellow who insists: "There are no absolutes" which is about as absolute a statement as you can make.
