I kinda liked the Daniel book. But the Isaiah book was a major snorefest. There wasn't one single paragraph that made sense to me, or was even remotely interresting.

The worst was the "Babylon the Great Has Fallen" book. Basically a big church-bashing session. I was in the seventh grade when we started it, and I think I was a sophomore in high school when we finally finished it.

Keep Yourself In God's Love was by far the most blatently judgmental guilt-tripping, elder-praising waste of tree pulp I've ever read. How many squirrels had to die so that this tripe could be published???

Keep Yourself in God's Love is HORRIBLE. It is the most mind-controlled book I think the Borg has ever put out. I started going through it paragraph by paragraph, analyzing all the cultish stuff I could find and was quickly overwhelmed. It is chock full of CULT!

Yeah isiah and daniel books. I cant remember the difference. both bored me to tears.
Mr. Falcon yeah I'll start working on a new one. Was thinking of doing the family study because they had the public talk and the watchtower then went witnessing. I thought when they got home they could do the family bible study, haha. God, I feel bad even putting cartoon characters through that.
But a little spoiler, in 20 years the kid (nathan) leaves the society. But considering I havent even completed one day of being a JW that's a long long way off. And that's how it felt for me too. :)

Sweeney - Keep Yourself In God's Love seemed to be designed to make you feel like a horrible sinner. I would say that the overall message of that awful book was that if you disagree or are not 1,000% happy with the WTBS, if you EVER have an impure thought or don't spend every moment of your existence with your nose in one of the WTBS publications, GOD HATES YOU AND WILL KILL YOU AND CAST YOU OFF FOREVER. I found the book to be over-the-top judgmental even by WTBS standards. Ironically the title of the book (and cover picture) makes it seem like it's going to be all about how loving God is. Sad.

Which book was the worst? I think I have to vote for Revelation - The Great Climax at Hand. It was a horrendous embarassement for me to admit to new potential converts that this was actually the way the WTS saw itself and then one of the things I remember with great discomfort near the end of my tenure was as we studied it for the 4th time? lost count - but when the section on pedophilia was opened up to the group everyone was so "self-righteous" and seemed just oblivious to their own organization's complicity in the very same sins as were being used to condemn the Catholics. And I felt I had to keep my mouth shut - I nearly didn't! That was a "close call" - if I had opened up the brothers would have had to escort me out. LOL
