I would feel sorry for you if you'd stop giving me the finger!
Just kidding.
It's a pain in the arse, but you will get all of your money back eventually. It can take anywhere from two weeks to 90 days. Trust me, I worked at a bank for years.

Dude, that sucks, have you contacted Feds yet. There's a fraud reporting system, methinks. Talked to your bank about it?
Hope you have a better one.....

OH Dim, so sorry! Anyhow, you are not liable but for the first $50 of an un-authorized transaction... I hope you know that. Kepp your chin up, it'll get better.

Mr. Moe is 100% correct, under regulation “E” you can only be charged the first $50.00. They may even waive the $50 if you ask, they did for me. If it makes you feel any better I just paid $50. for my car to be towed to the shop, and another $400 to have it fixed and it still will need more work. And if you really want to feel better, I used to own a shop!! Talk about “what goes around comes around”. At least at this rate I will soon have my “karma” leveled.

I've had this happen to me before and also 2 of my friends recently. Some jerk took my frineds number and charged up over $1900 on the Internet, and since she had overdraft protection and a line of credit with the bank, they never noticed. Fortunately for my friend, the idiot also paid two phone bills and two electric bills over the phone. Pretty dumb huh? The other one some dummy took the credit card back to some little crap town in Alabama and started charging it up, only to bring attention down on themselves for excessive spending. Sorry for the bad luck.
Sincerely,
