PS MR F...........the JWs sorta talked me into breaking ALL MY DIO CDS years ago as they were satanic and also as you well know, DIO means GOD, and they told me this was disrespectful to Jehovah, I still remember crying like a baby while breaking them.......hubby looked at me like I was nuts and asked why....I said....I HAVE TOO! THEY ARE EVIL!!!!!
AHA.....actually, all the new ones I have are perfect and scratch free.....sorted!!!!!!!

The Mountain Winery Amphitheater, Saratoga, California - Summer 2000
Michael McDonald w/ Amy Holland (McDonald)
Jeff Bridges
Above the Clouds
Perfect weather. Everyone was in perfect voice. Jeff Bridges was beginning his solo C/W style singing. Amy Holland had just recovered from her bout with cancer and was in fine form as backup female vocalist.
I've been to many, many concerts, but without a doubt everything came together perfectly that night. Great crowd too!

.the JWs sorta talked me into breaking ALL MY DIO CDS
although this never happened to me personally, I knew JWs who fell victim to this nonsense. Even knew a Bethelite who upon orientation to Bethel, had all his "questionable" CDs removed. He later told me it was like $300 worth of albums. (But his musical taste was horrible, so Bethel probably did him a favor).
Oh well, thank God for the mp3! now I can hide my 2 Live Crew albums on a flashdrive!
This thread makes me feel left out........you know I've never been to any concert in my entire life? As a born-in, there's only so much time you can devote to double life purposes, and when under your parent's roof and not much money for yourself, it ws too difficult. Not to mention as a teenager, all I listened to was rap music and it would have been impossible to attend a rap concernt with my folk's permission. When I was still at home, and had a job, a car, and would have been capable of going to a concert, I vowed to go to the Rage Against The Machine/Beastie Boys concert as they were touring at the time, and then one of the Beasties broke his arm, and right afterwards Rage broke up. To me it felt like Jehovah had spoken personally to me. "You will not attend the concert Misery, I am Jehovah, and my words you shall obey so that it may go well with you!"
The closest I've ever come to a concert experience was the music played to encourage us to take our seats before the circuit assembly or district convention started. That's pretty close right?
