So, any thoughts on sending the PDF to my entire congregation email distribution list? Obviously I would use an anonymous address.
It would probably freak the elders out.

That being the 'type' it would seem that the 'anti-type' would be for you to expose the Shepherd Book to the eyes of the whole congregation. This would be in keeping with the principal set forth in God's word and would no doubt have God's blessing. In fact, the holy spirit may be directing your thinking on this matter. You can never go wrong in revealing 'all truth to all people'. "The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth".
Do it. Let the chips fall where they may.
