Yes there is a lot I would like to know! I've done a lot of research already and thanks to the investigative efforts of men and women who have come before me, I have lots of "ammunition" against the WT bs!
But what I would LOVE to get my hands on is a compilation of all (or at least many of) the cases in which the WT removed false predictions or embarassing claims from their old editions of certain books.
And I would also love some kind of list of all of the times WT publications grossly distort figures or use quotes out of context, etc..I am trying to find material which clearly demonstrate how dishonest and unscrupluous the WT literature is.
The really interesting part is, at the same time, your spouse requesting oral sex was grounds for divorce. This is why I want no part of man-made rules.

Back around that time at Bethel ('71-'72), I met an ex-missionary, who divorced her ex-missionary husband who had become a practicing gay. She remarried later and then was disfellowshipped only for remarrying. She had just gotten reinstated and came visiting a Bethelite friend, who had been a missionary with this gal at the same branch. That was the first time I had ever heard of such a thing and clearly was stunned that she was not free to remarry.
How many more were disfellowshipped that shouldn't have been. I don't think the organization made an apology to anyone about it. The organization never apologies.
This was all reversed when the WT came out with the expanded light on the word "pornia". This was one of the straws that broke this camels back after enforcing the old light as an elder on JCs. The FDS is a bunch of cornball assholes making it up as they go.
It's also covered in the old aid book the one replaced by the Insight volumes
I remember reading... I think it was in a Ques from readers ...Where they spoke of those who had been df based on this wrong understanding of pornea..... The wt said in effect to forget about it let it ride ....I remember thinking at the time that the Elders should have been told to follow up all the wrongful disfellowshipings and try to redress this wrong But as we know now the WT never takes responsibility for its actions
Funny thing, they can disfellowship you for a homosexual affair or bestiality, but they will not allow it as grounds for divorce (or would not, during that time). These days, I don't know if it is still true, but the latest I heard is that one can divorce a spouse for "porneia" after a homosexual or bestial affair.

un-freaking believable, as a recent ex-elder I never undertood how the org. made these changes and then did not go back and try to "un-ring" the bell so to speak, at least make some kind of apology to those df'd under old light.
This application of script. makes no sense, adultery is adultery the whole principle is based on marital fidelity.
This is a perfect example of the power over our lives that all JW's have given to the GB to all our detriment.
If Jehovah was really directing them they would only get "new light" that would be correct the first time!
Oh well off to my SAD tomorrow, maybe we will get some more new light that will change after the damage is done.
