Thanks for the great summary.
The "prophecy" about Babylon never being inhabited is certainly a failed prediction that never came true. Sudam built a palace there which is maintained by several hundred people. He rebuilt much of the city as a tourist attraction as well. Furthermore, in the 2001 US invasion, several thousand troups were stationed in Bablyon.

Now I realise why I failed high school history. Being a good student AND a good JW wasn't compatible, there was simply too much contradiction.
Thanks for that, doubtful. Nice deconstruction.
Now I have to formulate a question that any JW will think has a really easy answer until they try to prove it.

No wonder the WTS encourages their little dubs not to get an education. If they developed their brains and knew their history better, they wouldn't believe the junk the GB wants to spoon feed them. I've often wondered about how they push JWs to work as janitors so much, given that you often can barely make a living and wouldn't be able to send all that much to Bethel. Wouldn't it be better to encourage their followers to gain more education and, therefore, be able to get better paying jobs? But now I get it. Better to have a bunch of uneducated followers who can only donate a few dollars, than none at all.

The WTS has always taught that Britain and American make up the Anglo-American
dual World Power which make up the League of Nations. They say when the League of Nations
failed, it came back as the United Nations. But America was NEVER a member of the
League of Nations. (Funk & Wagnalls Encyclopedia page 23.) So another lie for them.
