I think most people know we have all consumed blood at one point or another, whether it be your own, animal blood-meat, or your mothers in her breast milk. Sorry, had to bring that one up again. I dont crave it or anything but I certainly dont think you would be judged by God for eating it, unless it involved sacrificing humans or somthing. I think that J.W. teaching is getting pretty old. It frustrates me when I think about it because having it repeated to me over and over throughout my life, I might still have a hard time accepting a blood transfusion without feeling at least some guilt. On the other hand I wouldnt think twice of letting my children have whatever medical treatment was necessary to keep them alive.
Anyway, I guess its a touchy subject with me. It really bothers me that people are willing to die because of it. P.S. Cool Breeze;
Uhhhhhh,,,,Did you just say what I think you said?

Would I drink fresh, warm cow's blood for a million dollars? Who has the blood and show me the money. That's not even a question.
The REAL question is: would you eat a bowl of live crickets for a million dollars? How 'bout a bowl of live roaches?

Sorry to be tiresome, BUT:
Bled meat still drips red stuff called 'interstitial fluid', if it was proper blood then it would congeal.
Yes, I do enjoy Black Pudding. Basically its pigs guts + blood, just like a sausage, you slice it and fry it and it's delish with a couple of fried eggs.

I ate it as a kid in France.
Aaaah... Boudin with apple compote and mashed potatoes, delicious!
My grandfather used to raise rabbits for food. When he slaughtered one, he kept the blood and it was added to the sauce while cooking it (civet de lapin) Absolutely delicious.
